Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. + J6 _/ U' P6 h" V

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person) _- k# Y/ }# b" i9 P
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
! \1 G; m2 }/ a* ?4 P• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
* Q2 y2 @" H- x• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
; G% K5 i( l( t+ l9 r1 s• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings, _. r3 r0 L3 `$ B0 I: o8 q+ ^
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
3 @- z4 P8 p# m9 j6 x2 _! G$ v• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
; ?- D7 e' N) v K, ~• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
+ Z0 X+ d1 m( W M' Y• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
# ]. n9 l, v2 R• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset* B; |. N8 r i+ z! \
• Good English writing and oral communication skills: r( O; ?; [* f; `
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
1 q: X r3 z! K( x• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
) o# A3 a( o" p) F1 O• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
