The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
  Z; p  o1 \/ e' Y/ C( }• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
- `2 Y% D8 Z1 h2 j$ p- x, |( ]• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
2 e% M7 C% ]" ?/ \1 ~" j; c• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

$ X, G4 Q+ a- |  ?9 {' QMinimum Qualifications:
' |5 M, p8 \/ d3 eEducation
' [, R( L. Q0 ~1 q9 B! l! a  i4 J• Completion of a high school diploma
" g/ U) }3 O* d) U+ V. X• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
: b1 A* J& @( L; ~: W• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
" V$ Z0 v: y5 Z9 ?3 e' q• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
