The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

% g; e5 ~! F/ \Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
/ P" O% u& a3 A3 z$ a• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
/ e4 j3 r9 T! W  ]2 o: I# A# @2 q0 a• Behavior management
1 p; u( {9 Z0 Y- S• Medication Administration
5 @9 p6 z$ B: G3 [6 y/ ^• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

- y0 {' [3 y& LMinimum Qualifications:
Education
, s* o" c2 R- u5 Z• Completion of a high school diploma
1 E6 G* @  D4 G2 {• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
6 R/ P. J, v5 N9 Y1 D# c' v; |Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
1 }( N2 A/ j. O  k0 D; a, T• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
2 O- `9 I6 m1 @. k9 b• Standard First Aid with CPR
: V0 F; j1 U, S• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
3 a& g" J/ n7 T6 Y. l$ Y" D$ S• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
+ d1 X5 [3 d7 V  a4 W• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
7 H) p9 G! ^& I0 g: ESalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
