The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
% W1 |# q& ]( ?% A( q) _+ t* v• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
( u5 {7 |! q/ \" z6 P6 w/ J• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

/ l5 |" q' L- HMinimum Qualifications:
& b$ t3 z3 |0 K6 s& REducation
7 x) |0 s  W( A0 F7 C1 B# v% r• Completion of a high school diploma
. d' T8 v' i* J2 A' L; ?+ S• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
8 L- d6 s0 u0 Y* w• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
. F4 U9 S4 a: M: E/ u, }0 A• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
* \; E: m: O& z6 k• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
- d: a- u! B/ ~9 @1 M7 _/ q- `• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
  e+ N6 a+ O0 t/ \• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  n4 L3 F1 Y1 L' b# G• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
