The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
/ \2 w; d; n* N, z• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
0 i) L) R! I5 [3 ]9 F  ~* n• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
( Z6 T. y" V, |, j8 M2 F1 `* n1 W• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 J. a( @4 x& m$ Y( z• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
8 g9 C+ A9 ~: T0 w) S+ Y) y• Behavior management
! V6 z& i+ S6 }• Medication Administration
9 T' h  @8 C* }# |* T. f( f; s• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
9 E' v# G) }% b+ gTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
0 E. h/ `& V8 y* s4 Q4 i• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  Y+ e& e* K6 J+ r• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
0 J: ^( I- b/ F• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
, I6 \5 m. Z( \) Z0 U& }• Experience with personal care
# [, K- g9 R0 q7 |• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
5 l( K" {! X% aSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
