The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
0 X1 R9 u1 M$ D' f& Q  |• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
! ^# o% V# Z: ?5 Q7 b; ]% [7 d• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
) R( L( O5 ~7 }5 N9 M; B• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
6 O/ y% `0 J1 r  n( O9 LEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
8 Z9 S' m, Q2 v; m4 y" E7 G! D+ k" d2 g• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
1 A7 b4 w' @( E0 pTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
8 S* ^, G& n$ k• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
1 l; f! c0 B6 i" S9 ^• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
" N7 t) j, m5 C3 R8 \' F! b• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
: w, Z, T0 J# [• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
