nine years and our mission is to equip youth to engage and inspire others to
7 c! x/ I* n* k2 C, fpeacefully resolve conflicts and develop healthy relationships in their communities.4 Y0 g8 p% g X( y2 K, V
The YOUCAN VERTO Project is a Government of Canada and Government of Albertafunded

. a* O6 A' e& x0 yproject that will bring at-risk youth together into a unique 15 -week groupbased1 X0 y% k0 s- Q6 S5 N" ?
employability skills program entitled “The VERTO Project”.0 C3 l# \6 p9 ~) [( r
The goal of the VERTO Program is to assist participants in obtaining and maintaining
* F- B1 |) j# a3 R; L" g* _the skills necessary to bring success into their lives. Verto program will expose
1 C1 v$ r5 R1 S; D( c: Nparticipants to a wide range of components focusing on: employment development,
3 K" z0 u L8 Z5 Wpersonal wellness, technology learning, conflict resolution, and exposure courses.4 D: o3 p0 u9 t) R9 m( T1 g4 P% F
Additionally, we will incorporate topics around health and wellness, volunteerism,* c# D) \4 S1 B" u2 k
and leadership courses. Verto youth will be provided with a six-month employment

. Y( e. a6 ] qVerto project will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the! {! P$ m# H, f4 F4 A
