1. 800 bucks for putting undercoat potection on the new truck, is it a waste of money? Another 800 bucks for rust proofing? (I don't think i need rust proofing but not sure about undercoating)

# V- H* M5 e+ c* C; P6 q2. I want to install mud flaps on the truck (DIY), the truck comes with OE fender flare, which bolted same/similar spots where the mud flaps should be. How should I do the mud flaps? (drill new holes/putting fender and mud flaps on same bolt/others?)

4. Does skid plate actually help?

3 a layer of coat is way better than just wax

1，not worth, buy 3-4 cans of under coat and spray it yourself, must be under 100 bucks
. R; H, Z0 J, G2,  buy mud flaps sepcific  for your vehicle, should comes with detailed instruction. Dont buy universal flaps, they are knock offs
3, yes, it called "paint sealer", a very soft and gentel wax. But dont polish
4, yes, especially off roading

3俺还是觉得漆面保护膜比打蜡要好，以后终生不用打蜡，但是要用好的，不然脱落了就还不如打蜡呢。

3.保护膜不知道要不要特殊的工具,但是去弄这个"paint sealer"的蜡的信息很有用.别人告诉我不要给新车打蜡也是说新车不需要抛光.
4.那个是底盘下装块铁板一样的东西,比如下个河什么的,万一有块大石头,只能顶到那个铁板,不会撞到发动机之类的重要部件..我钻到车底,觉得所有部件都挺结实的,如果不装的话,ground clearance比装了好一点.

3，具体步骤是：洗车，擦干，均匀抹上paint sealer，晾干，用micro fiber擦掉paint sealer，完成
4，就2-3mm，不会影响ground clearance
