Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program

Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

. A4 i4 R. T5 ^*might work in other time in some specific days

& R# A7 _' a- I' PDuties:
( H+ S% N" ?4 W& _! fTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
% p( H5 U; H+ v4 q Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
6 Z7 W  L; }9 Z9 f& K Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
& ~8 T4 B) ~* b1 E7 ~" { Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
  U# j6 J6 A0 r/ e  a Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
9 ~- \- Q9 p7 I& v( ^ Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
+ u8 G* K+ ?& u" _0 W- \ A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
) j' P: l9 J8 o9 d- N& q. W& V8 T Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
. b% K3 \! A0 G- \! H8 z$ b Able to work independently with minimum supervision
( M9 d: U$ r5 I Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
. p2 M  y( N6 ?* O. Q+ q+ \( \ Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
