Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
v# A7 F$ g; X( e- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;5 n. z" e$ G* c' b! Y2 p! t
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.' \& ~6 e7 i, B# H, F# j( h
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff./ n1 a$ w0 |9 i
