Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
3 V# h! u# ?$ [" v- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;4 B) T3 e6 A& y/ U8 _
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.5 J3 y- @, W: _" d+ j& \3 v
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff. @2 t; m3 M' d/ R, o, w
