Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
7 I P& G9 o( q- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
7 }0 Z1 U" d @$ A* o: I2 G- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.
6 d4 O4 {$ }+ k- ]2 j! {- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
