Job Description
$ O4 N6 v7 l4 o/ I- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
; }" O8 S* [8 w: ^7 m- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
5 b! o% u8 v; y+ r: f1 Q6 g- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
, A" [4 i- U: C- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
' A/ C$ ^9 J- J- h6 i" d9 J! j: n- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
- other duties as assigned

, G" k8 P1 w" @4 EQualifications
% z" v7 ~: O( _% V6 |9 d; `9 |) k- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)

- good organizational and coordination skills
5 ?! _& j: C! ?% j: J9 M- valid driver’s license

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
