Job Description
- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
, @1 D8 L0 W  c( ~; Z0 G& W- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
2 o+ i9 u, l7 ]2 E" _; W  N/ V) M-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
) V6 O5 Z) X* W  c3 {% c# ]2 G% _- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
9 ~9 w1 w) q9 L  j- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
4 j6 q$ V& }& |: l8 K- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
7 n; W8 O3 b' c8 g* q- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
+ c& t4 Z" d& U# Q# p  q- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications
9 K- T. s' R7 Z& h+ D- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)

3 a9 I7 X4 V: s- b& G- good organizational and coordination skills
