/ U9 c' V7 D4 V' u2 o+ i+ D. h% g- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information4 j( x$ e* H$ ?* ~. s& k& l3 q
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
9 |+ u# }, s$ g. x- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP/ J5 ^% K7 H0 N7 V& ?5 G. w0 v
- provide support to ISP staff8 b1 S6 S' K* ~' k
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
0 L& S5 d8 x0 b* C; w0 L9 i- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities1 C9 l& t/ Y! c k" s. p
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated0 X1 v! u) u! C
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants* @& ^+ H# K; W$ Z# A$ W
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals) Q" x8 J/ p% w& W: }5 |* O- e
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
r. N; I/ I, j5 ]& ]/ J+ f) D7 v- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.2 M$ t$ h* q5 i7 Z9 i
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

! _1 P' k8 X" d. k4 ` k- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered9 I- i8 f0 o9 J6 B4 q
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
2 s7 [& K" J* t4 d1 N* W; V- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
9 i" l, v [# N4 [: z- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software" {' b. P" ^( g1 f5 S6 W
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)9 W' C+ u& F M' p' @ ~- N
- good interpersonal and people skills9 a* ~# P$ p# G+ G- e9 l; `5 d
- good organizational and coordination skills
