; U2 z; O" z0 X0 f# Z- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
4 V% O6 d/ j1 \+ u- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
6 F/ \7 b6 U9 O3 v  A-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
2 Q: V8 u  g8 x- provide support to ISP staff
0 ~, f6 a# R: j8 g- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
; g2 p# i! g  V# _& u) x3 C; Q- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
& d/ r7 ^, W+ W# d- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
# d7 v$ `) g) x% T1 |7 O- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
# n/ o. _- x% O/ s# C- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
. k; b7 d% K+ L- other duties as assigned

0 s$ I) J! D, v4 p) SQualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
9 K3 D  r, ~" e( v- |% p; A7 ?* x- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
# m* s; x1 a( y- I; p- b) N- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
- good interpersonal and people skills
; G6 m8 w+ a. v5 E9 V5 F; B- good organizational and coordination skills
- valid driver’s license
; a7 S8 i4 ?, F' r/ u) q, y' B

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
