JOB SUMMARY:
' }- v/ r. `& H* u+ r/ \. IWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

JOB DUTIES:
* L! c" h( B8 o5 S$ Q9 r. ~, T        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
& Q7 {' ~* f- D2 e  m        Operational communication with all Transport providers
        Booking of delivery appointments when required
3 r' r) u5 C" {8 C        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
9 @: G; _2 b4 e        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
6 b$ U1 t8 l# D$ ~        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;
        Other duties as assigned.

7 a4 v, x6 W5 L  o1 @QUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
; g7 k7 j7 l! T; {4 Q        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
3 i0 c7 j3 z- S" V. J1 K) H5 l8 \% f+ e        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
5 M# J  L: i. c        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
  g( X& C7 q; d' v" s( S0 Y        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
9 Y3 G5 w# P. F7 J' |        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
# e9 R0 j/ v  q/ [        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
