6 P( Z2 C6 K8 BJOB SUMMARY:
$ S1 T2 ~5 z1 j0 \9 GWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

# P' u( f( W8 M* D- s' S' M  R4 TJOB DUTIES:
        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
        Operational communication with all Transport providers
        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;

        Other duties as assigned.

4 j* x2 c. E. ?8 M! }$ pQUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
) A+ s8 H5 }+ j; D2 C9 t4 H; u        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
