 Continuously interact with all clients in the Resource Area to ensure that their job search requirements are being met.

6 J5 c* _0 o% C! M Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.

 Be required to work flexible hours, with some evening and occasional weekend work

 Promote Bredin Institute’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives.9 O& ]% v3 y$ N9 f, e7 {
 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers
; }% C8 b3 y1 Y  Q5 u' _6 f Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan.1 w8 g# x' U2 R. ]3 {( w4 C4 a
 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.

 Responsible for intake, orientation and completion of workability assessments.

 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.0 ^) F' d$ i3 B4 N% N
 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.. ^6 @0 d0 D8 \  \+ ]0 W
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.0 ~! \# J& `+ I9 C% L. l1 F# Z
 Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

Service Manager
/ n( _6 `$ E& ^- ` Interact with participants on a continuous basis so that the Service Plan progress can be monitored throughout the program and into the follow up period

 Ensure that participants have access to the required supports to successfully complete their Service Plan! E, h% l+ R& M! Q
 Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment
0 ~; ]+ I& ^1 A! ? Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada
& p" z; ^' w1 _) N  V Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants
7 Q3 e+ W5 H1 Q# C: |# {; z6 V Complete participant reviews with the participants: |) |1 A) w" V7 q/ N
 Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
