An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.

- r9 y; t: C/ o/ w9 ?8 b" GPolice charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.

The 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week.

In a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo. F A% `# ]0 p' ]' O. ?% ]( H

As Qian Liu’s father arrived from China on Friday to claim his dead daughter.
