Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
) X( g0 p7 `/ n, WUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
# {; V i; i6 _8 H; u+ w# F7 Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal1 u/ `' j1 G( X, C$ Y
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
1 G, W8 n& A' J( _- r; p+ t5 s0 _* h; h6 U2 L' k) p, \
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
# i- B1 ]' P& x! a0 x. bMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
5 f2 j$ I& `; v5 x5 z4 z* `. CSchool)
2 ?8 W/ r" U: MMust have supervisory experience
$ X+ J6 U# q! l/ Z* A' F$ W1 pMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ B$ Z3 d6 x4 o+ W" `Must be computer literate
* ]/ W* H1 r( w$ `3 FMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ ?; C! P1 _! r! S5 EMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network" f( _1 P% k* a* ~
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills# U* p' r; v4 S' H' L
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already: R/ y- q6 s" E |3 R' W' E# Q
