Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
( B( n+ m9 ~8 X3 M `player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
+ {9 m4 k. ]/ ]: h" rMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
9 j/ I) Z& z k9 Y z( g; [# g, t4 m! n$ J/ d8 e
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 e/ B7 ]; y" l% u5 ^7 {

! L0 |6 }% Q: ^5 ^- B: jMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services7 U4 f- \9 F6 w% {9 b
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
' x7 e" n% s) }# d5 c; P xSchool)
4 }3 u# u8 b3 T }' ?2 [1 [2 WMust have supervisory experience
9 A' D d/ g# }0 @7 G, S; l* yMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system6 E1 E N7 [6 h, F3 d4 E
Must be computer literate% C/ Z8 K" e+ h% B3 Y9 J
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
: j% W8 h$ P5 j+ r7 RMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) K0 e3 o/ y2 o7 z" t, @# TMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills2 L7 x: A" F5 o) N* a3 k- _
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
