Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia. More than 2.2 million people across the world turned off their lights.$ Y: X7 L( h( q/ c& V

2011 will be the fourth year that Edmonton participates in Earth Hour. Earth Hour gives us all a chance to reflect on our energy consumption. It is important to continue to make changes to your everyday lifestyle and show you care about the planet. 1 M& N9 E& z$ w! g# B$ b* R
