当时很多姐妹感兴趣,要我不辞辛劳的翻译菜谱,结果连个面包渣也没有人做!& }- k" {& K( ` K/ ^

INGREDIENTS:
* N% d7 @' W' L/ {* C0 j6 @( z9 o· 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 7 u4 f$ v. b8 h% H7 t7 t) o* I+ a
· 4又1/4 全能面粉
4 E, G/ v0 {* \/ X" [3 r9 m3 K· 3 tablespoons white sugar

( ^7 w$ w+ m0 m' {' x· 2 (.25 ounce) packages instant yeast 6 u( D' a& k, d6 w
· 0.25盎司 (合1.5茶匙)即时酵母5 X( m+ }4 t" [
· 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

DIRECTIONS:
& \$ b) P' K& ]+ ~8 ~) E2 {1. In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, undissolved yeast, salt, and herbs. 在大容器里放入1又1/2杯面粉(注意不是总量) , 糖,未融化的酵母,盐,和三种本草 (个人建议,把酵母加入温水,温水淹没酵母即可,加一点糖,先发出来比较好。)
$ _6 O* F/ P% w% g2. Heat milk, water, and 1/4 cup butter until very warm (120-130 degrees F); stir into dry ingredients. Stir in egg and enough remaining flour to make soft dough. 加热牛奶, 水,1/4杯黄油,直到120-130 F度。然后搅入干料(如1),再搅入鸡蛋里,再逐渐加入省下的面粉,直到做成柔软的面团 $ o, h' }5 P0 \0 F' ~
3. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4-6 minutes. Cover; let rest on floured surface 10 minutes. 轻揉面团4-6分钟,至到光滑有弹性。放在薄面上,盖住,发面10分钟(个人建议,多放一会儿,因此第一次发面最重要)" M% t/ w. H0 Y% m W [7 x
4. Divide dough into 3 equal pieces. Roll each piece to 30 inch rope. Braid ropes; pinch ends to seal. Tie knot in center of braid; wrap ends around knot, in opposite directions, and tuck under to make round loaf. Place on greased baking sheet. 5. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 30 to 35 minutes or until done, covering with foil during last 10 minutes of baking to prevent excess browning. Melt remaining butter; brush over loaf. Sprinkle with additional herbs, if desired.
