Duties- H/ K0 g4 Q, t# k2 o
Develops and updates the graphic user interface including program interface (menus, dialogue boxes, file editing, etc.) using C++ or Java or other languages to allow users to compose run scripts and edit input files for a FORTRAN model! J+ p) l' j9 t! i T4 }0 j& \7 O0 J
Generates dynamic visualization of numerical output from the model using VTK or other visualization tools, linked to explanatory documents4 p! K3 \( ~$ T
Works with staff in the MACI to determine ways to deal with the data and find innovative approaches of presenting results0 c& r0 ^# n0 Q" g ~% l6 ^
Implements interface and visualization on portable media (CD and website) for use in research and teaching; implements the mathematical model "ecosy" in parallel mode on computing facilities available
$ d+ x/ J4 \6 C3 zProvides technical support to teaching initiatives at undergraduate and postgraduate levels using the mathematical model with the graphic user interface
