A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

& n7 E! }# i0 d5 _) TEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.

Forensics officers continued to probe the scene at 10816 52 St. on Tuesday night.
