! {: [) [- }5 p( a Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
# `5 B( k) A3 D! b5 L Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
2 Y/ H( G0 c9 Q* V Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
 Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

Qualifications
- |) e5 s0 u; O/ n2 H5 V: a Social work degree or diploma
 Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
 Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
( L0 g& D, P- f& g/ I' W Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
. U# F: S. e2 T4 S9 E$ r Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- F6 @0 h4 u6 {4 }: r Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
