/ W: ~6 s% Y- b0 W- C3 e- h2 PDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items7 L( f7 }- ^- F
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments* O6 O: H0 t7 |) ~* Y* v
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
$ u5 d4 z+ V2 dPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead! Y; l5 |4 d( |; Y/ {& n# D( x {# Z
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
f$ ? M' O. |* M- eValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
2 Y; c# O8 K2 b8 O/ YHigh School diploma; previous driving experience required
( S ?! l9 H/ tCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification" r( [+ V2 a" x5 y: h3 m5 L
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
