/ A& L- U( c" vDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
! x, D9 z& L' lObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
* {5 ~$ j! O+ }" @$ REnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
$ {. B* M( l7 b) U& S1 V7 UPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead9 a2 q7 t$ g* g: c1 `% Z
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions; M7 N5 z! u8 {6 N- Y1 {* D: ]
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.: M, F$ w% u. _
High School diploma; previous driving experience required) n9 h# e( x+ P- K9 c$ d% b
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification e6 h1 e! ^+ g9 U# ~& @
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
) E' J3 ~# e6 vAbility to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
