Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation) B g4 Z+ z3 H, s
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
% c' X6 \0 d( }/ L3 t* a, y7 YPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed' ^. W2 V3 k4 D1 t

4 Z' L( m5 I/ D* E% QDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
7 g9 d* t8 G' _! _$ BDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred5 z) ?# U" s" h/ ^
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset, Y- C' e8 f. A" K4 ^
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred

Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
