Duties
: Q; _8 A2 p2 b/ |) b8 S; U* ~ c$ i3 MAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
' X" O$ ]& S7 I, V0 J7 j' G: b/ RProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required8 a5 |( S* l5 U* G. N. ^2 H9 w
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed5 D* ]: b* [1 ?( Y+ q( P

3 D7 F! a# _# R. F% [+ aDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred( f( c5 v" j) d+ m
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred: f! x2 i8 f0 W8 H( Y
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset2 P4 z. ~; J( E, D
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred

Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
