Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
8 E7 L U+ ]) u8 |0 I' l' E3 nProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required

Qualifications
% v" I5 `# D7 `Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred8 }! }0 s* B2 f
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
+ K3 A( `) J$ @. O- }8 }1 XSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset% O7 S' ]% N5 X! d% j/ U9 o5 {6 H
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred r+ J7 E) p' r' I& U; m
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
* P- I+ `+ F7 \% c$ LRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages% M+ _/ W7 K/ B, v1 u
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
