Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)& f3 }4 c4 n$ B1 X5 c5 s) s( e2 ^
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
- v ~4 i2 z g1 ~2 }0 g* }Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
9 J3 Y- V, L& q: C s9 g. `) WDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
* ~4 l3 D& a4 M7 [3 {* sSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
. W" ^3 [; |& m( @Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
0 e/ r. p2 ^; m$ J1 hFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
