Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)5 Y7 q, r! ^/ Y* K. |0 }8 @% O
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required

Qualifications
; o5 l" f! l. W% dDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred% L# A6 k+ x: M2 i2 o
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
D* i: y/ ]" s' q, @+ H2 gSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset( Q' a7 i, o* u5 V* Z3 i
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred, o/ x2 R' j, i3 g4 ^$ t# a
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit, t! t5 Q4 @. ~; f7 W( A; L! a
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages" x0 \- g( d' N" e
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
