Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
7 |9 @$ @) V( P0 Y" x! [Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
5 |$ b8 Y) F+ l+ g/ C/ APerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
8 `' a4 a9 m4 K+ q3 x, ASolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
* g) Z* W, S* N. M9 s% }* c6 eFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
5 w0 z! e7 e- r# z( y- V' aRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
