移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。
1 `( O9 W2 s! h前几天突然想起明年3月现在的护照就过期了
请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。
这个是具体要求：

Passport Requirements:

We require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
/ R( {3 N. n# P) `4 tmember. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted

There must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
passports.
