Responsibilities
) c9 u9 z" a8 Q$ }. Y; `6 V0 R■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
. I3 m( g* y9 M■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.' W3 ^! C, }) a, H# I/ g
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
# z1 G- ^7 q; V) k+ OExperience and Education:' D$ \& P# A, n1 T
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
& k2 K$ t! K/ ]' d+ q ?6 W$ [■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.9 B. [( F9 F, g, O5 p
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.+ L5 L( M1 ~4 [ Q* F) i
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
$ B$ t8 ?- v; Y p■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
# \! }3 o, V& r4 {' H' X6 q■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
; z R, f1 S2 j& v- k$ u" A■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.2 ?" N' G7 I- R4 D# q" o
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
