Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
) g- l& Q  ^& S0 y( Q6 `■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
4 ]( j  N" w, t& j4 N5 c& @■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
1 d: a9 m: ~/ c  W/ H1 ~Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
* s6 r4 o: |$ ?; \/ d: R6 l. D■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
& U5 i$ H+ h* v4 l; H" T% U■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
! `% N! z" y1 \. l; A■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
* _$ y' _6 r1 {2 f5 a) t. u■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
