Responsibilities
5 {& t) K5 U% q) D! z+ m■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
& a% v0 K3 w2 g% j■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
" D9 G) X+ G5 K7 X■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships' u2 w I1 e' S: o5 T0 P
Experience and Education:# k1 ^* M& d" c
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
( r" J$ e4 c' w9 H) x3 f■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
6 u% J9 a$ X, }& b■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
1 f$ D% Y, D4 L* O( y% k■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
; _4 G3 K x- q7 i■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
* ]% `/ a6 k5 |3 N9 k5 ^( i■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices./ G; _4 S/ w9 B( i
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.+ i& v o9 y+ O( J# C" k L6 i) Q, s$ U
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
