Responsibilities r! d9 a3 Y4 R
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
! G3 ^9 R- f! z- c■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
2 p# ~8 c* n3 A. }$ c: A■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships) |$ K' n: V7 g. n
Experience and Education:
" C% C* g, x4 K. b# O■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
& h; k+ _% ~3 ?3 ^■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
9 Y/ G; k; L9 }/ g4 ?4 C$ I■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
! g: t! q+ j* W& j; U■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;: @* T) k/ }, N7 e9 b' `* E
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;* k1 U" Q& ]" X6 O# W% Y9 e
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices./ H: g/ x5 {( R' C
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
+ w) x+ y( r1 O& W) x* k, E7 n) w" G■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
