Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

. c; [5 r) @# n7 p& VResponsibilities
" j1 h7 T7 b+ k. U' K3 w) j/ s: g■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
( T9 X( l$ @% ^  ^■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
2 _+ Y, Y) X% }3 n+ Y■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% a$ W  U4 s; Z9 N+ a: J" H■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
$ N) H) [; E3 L( u; F$ A6 o■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
$ U2 k, i4 V, e$ @& h■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
6 [9 r* s; S& B9 L  j% n* L/ w■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
7 \/ ~* s% \' x) @! `: a! Z■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
