( i" u: Z/ R; U1 B0 `+ e Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.

 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth., }2 w, T3 r ]# w0 L0 Y8 h1 J
 Completing required paperwork.8 u! x+ y& f' D/ ~4 J
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.- ? z. N; D4 J! ?( J! I
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.6 L" i( |! \4 n% E* J+ _( w. F
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. & `# Y! Y* [8 ^
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.! S/ ^9 Z; l Q! ] x$ X, H0 X; U
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.$ ^! P0 ^" o% W4 ]# t8 a7 F( S0 t* l
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

, N F( Y$ L2 K9 h; f* s Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.% K7 A, z4 ~. S
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
, z+ |& q$ E. S+ m( \; C3 M Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
. D& Z1 I- ^) S' E Knowledge of community resources.

 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
* Y u" @5 I7 w3 a$ \This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. - v5 C& ]0 c, {
There is a 3-month probationary period.
