; R, X( e0 S& S; M( }, G Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.1 G; G4 V: t5 T
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.; R) N. x: z$ w. S% u8 a
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.6 a1 y* f9 D( K) j1 _8 q7 J3 B2 P
 Completing required paperwork.- i. O' Y& a3 `% ]# u) D& u. j; d* \
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.; @3 i5 f" b f) x U$ I5 X
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
1 i( q# K) ^( x& I* b Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
) O# O" \8 z, h0 D Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.! E, T9 U9 P) u/ p' y1 G6 q* g7 @4 S
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.: H) r& g) m$ K: @# x- U
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.! X" |4 @" M5 g3 u8 }3 L# t
 Knowledge of community resources.
9 j( i, c) ?" p1 P Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
4 u" Q* N. k7 r; G( F0 w6 k5 u Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
6 S# `4 s& |; j$ {This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. " j# f. y8 E6 S4 x8 j
