+ y8 @& n& q, W6 B0 j, E2 y" _+ _0 @ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.* u4 t; c: x0 @# X. G
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.3 w# |- y) Y% z, ^
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.. q( f; k7 @) ]. P7 @) C& W
 Completing required paperwork.. u1 V/ V7 p8 x( p: E
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
( A i& l/ S) N Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
b* k- {3 j- ? Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
h6 M) D8 s% E6 ~& D$ g8 G( ?: S Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.2 N% m( G3 z4 |. E% p, Y. q4 [. d
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
) A2 U0 _4 d2 M0 S; W/ q) Z* Z Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
$ c4 k/ c' R1 ]" L6 T+ J Knowledge of community resources.# s4 i2 K4 o+ V' v
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.$ C5 D- @( W6 {' U8 {& u9 t
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. \6 t" P1 D& ]+ P- A

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
