# G9 N4 p9 F5 D, c6 M Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
# t) h) X0 n' Z Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
; E' v  t- o$ P& Q Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
0 B- t8 {( A* B& y2 E Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
0 J" D/ p* V" w* p; ~; u  _ Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

; v/ z7 f1 V0 y% \Qualifications:
' J, H7 P8 N$ _' i' V
8 p0 W* ^1 _/ A6 Y6 t$ p Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
( W% ]2 _1 d) L9 @9 k; w" u. K8 H8 Y Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
- P% E8 P+ A+ S Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
$ [) F/ f& K$ |- q8 F Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
% |6 R  ^/ U6 T$ c  }% K& \ Knowledge of community resources.
! g* J5 X) Y# b/ f* i& h2 H Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.
/ ]# k4 \+ M) S* F3 ~% v' r" ]
7 u% |, J0 v9 A' e/ q# U. W4 pPosition:
; g$ ~/ U: Z- W7 z1 s1 N0 JThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
, h6 R/ R8 y5 ^2 f; V* {1 M' \: hstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
