The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. , U( { P. t+ u" L+ D: ?, J

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.1 _) }9 m! u* V3 {1 }, V

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:+ e9 K* i5 I' G9 T& y
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required" {4 S" ]% u( o0 q. o4 O9 Y; V/ r
• Answer multi line telephone system4 k! H8 Q: u% d8 y! [# q

Administration:
# B- S9 L+ z; i& t- M7 c• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads. x9 g! @4 W W: v7 b6 [
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
2 U, n0 M8 h1 n% Q3 P4 J4 i F• Input and manage high volume of data
& [! T8 t/ U! Y• Update and maintain databases0 ~% G1 J/ [" i; l4 Z
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
$ s) P2 q4 W1 E# R• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
* [( _, y- I, Y9 ?. }) d• Process payments and complete weekly deposits2 n: W' b: b5 C |; T
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
0 i9 G; v* ~/ M. ~• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors# K& u6 K7 {; K& i: _' I1 x
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre7 P, _% o. a W2 u/ I- H
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

8 u+ a6 D) {( r; g9 d• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
: U/ N+ b9 `: B& U: V+ R% t9 Q0 y• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
% V* d4 Z* l! q. s2 Y _( V0 r• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
