The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.! ?) x+ l: t1 o0 x" ?

/ ]- i l! c& z/ H& c2 r0 T• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required4 @( Z9 U- V5 d: [' Y) E3 }
• Answer multi line telephone system2 [5 y+ Y/ C, {* {/ [1 t ^

Administration:1 C8 h7 f+ U5 B% H1 \# B0 ]
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
* C! ~' |( [# u) K P I• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
% K$ F9 d" A$ O+ d1 G: K/ |• Input and manage high volume of data
% s. t3 y6 ?" O% {# ~• Update and maintain databases
5 [# z& ~9 x$ \0 z• Generate monthly reports and statistics/ m4 C* H+ u' j$ K8 o% [0 t0 u
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation/ e% {4 J. c @. X5 r& A% E8 H# h" I
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits: X+ Q2 E% Z/ v1 B ]- y. G4 f; |
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
; y, i2 p6 J% e/ \$ ]) A• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
& O A! x6 n; x( M( d, N• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
/ |4 g! P: D# r) M8 j) W• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients' p0 i1 r# u" k8 l u
! O& ]! W# E. ~4 @$ zQualifications:" T, U8 q/ N8 I' Y8 H/ R6 F" P
: o; `) s | Y8 a* A( W• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure% ?/ _& ?% D, A9 R% y+ V! K, }
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
/ W1 D/ k/ J, n: s) k• Excellent verbal and written communication skills$ I8 T d: J) }9 l9 J( Y5 f$ ^
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work6 G* ~. k# x! {% f' d9 @$ B( S. g* z
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
