The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. M( n3 {9 z, n6 a' T3 ^" ^& b- u

Reception:# u- Q$ T$ e% M
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
+ F- u: ^% H: k( i8 x• Answer multi line telephone system
) i% p1 p7 J, t5 |( C
+ U5 V8 j6 b' v. l, p8 gAdministration:8 n5 d0 E7 ]! S! [
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" R) o. a: |7 l# o
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
$ x ~( {3 p& i, l: @" m• Input and manage high volume of data5 E% U B- g! ~. g; q' {3 t
• Update and maintain databases* N( R- Z$ G' U$ D
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
8 X# D: F4 M8 \; r+ ?• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
" p c. ^; A: l0 O# n; P# [• Process payments and complete weekly deposits5 x: s" s+ A5 E9 c8 v" M
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms( `7 M- K! p. Q- y/ E
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors- {6 O0 E( @; d4 C
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
" N h, [# N! N1 ], b6 C• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure: h+ W. D$ X, j3 {: K# d# o
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
( X# G8 x2 f% P2 \$ }• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
