The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 9 l* g9 w8 W+ t5 ]1 v
! J5 S {" }0 @" d* j) Z O4 LThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required1 {4 X6 o, e2 ~
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:. s' `2 Y, n' ~3 o3 U4 P
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
; B ]2 u$ W, W% P6 ` D• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
0 o3 g1 X2 h8 p6 g% f" I• Input and manage high volume of data
: a; R e) C9 V4 t( w• Update and maintain databases: T0 N, r A# b0 L: }7 ^
• Generate monthly reports and statistics( b% `+ t' ~5 v3 Z( c
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation" S% Q0 A0 _4 r* T5 w
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
8 v6 _& ?7 ^: a; c5 x- |7 @5 N• Write and revise business correspondence and forms* S: T6 e4 ?4 V6 l6 m- ~5 r
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors0 k; {. K: N+ |& {/ U% x5 Z
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
: o8 n5 i) [2 W, x5 @' j6 u• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
& E9 `0 y6 t, c& v, l5 Y• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ) F1 B6 }- x, `' a
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills* l7 z0 \0 D. Q5 Z9 b$ \
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work6 K7 N6 i- a& ~4 j& O0 q
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population5 Z0 x, s! }* f; L: k' q t
• Strong customer service skills9 W, Y( y6 F$ h4 D
• Strong organizational skills and abilities8 g/ O# e. R1 [1 m
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset3 S7 Y. [1 s% U s5 q' x
