The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. : X' S' a5 g4 ~0 E: N

Reception:
% m5 _: W! k; R6 b• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required# Q$ M9 N' k8 s- S [. u3 O9 h8 I
• Answer multi line telephone system

* L0 s* |, c# u& z• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
) ]9 A0 Y! ?0 U• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits; B7 w! w1 ?) g! m$ ^- s
• Input and manage high volume of data" z2 N& I; g* l# b
• Update and maintain databases
4 i( P) J- ?8 |$ @( W• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) _( F' [0 j, Z1 q# p• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation7 ?; J* {6 O9 A, r1 c6 x( l
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
7 G. ?, ?$ f% `+ \5 N4 q& c• Write and revise business correspondence and forms" \, k& p; Y4 M
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors1 ?: s5 a+ C7 U5 B* y
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre# m% @6 G4 ]2 f4 j: x
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:( Q& w% Y3 F3 y8 g* X
- x; W: n6 x- q, h• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
6 W/ R. s% \4 U8 y/ U& j) s• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
% F& I* L4 g8 c9 O* P9 `$ q• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ p4 |/ l# r* l D- Q• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
) ?- q& r" {! k* j1 `6 v& }• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
