Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

) S- T8 O4 W! T; [Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
4 M% d* Z# G6 y7 ^8 cResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications
; e' d9 a' F  e" n$ x
; m) P- Q# @- |1 kGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
. F4 \" C' Z) \- V# {Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
' {1 b; l8 x4 ~  q8 ?. k* aUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
3 [, w7 v$ M4 _Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
7 b9 _1 V  ^; D# k1 E* _Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
