• Process research equipment design;
9 A; Q+ n5 l$ P• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;* o$ e: s5 I0 h% t8 ?. M! B
• Equipment fabrication guidance;
5 B" p- L! q0 K& ?! {2 O$ x• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;' V& r- d4 ~0 n0 R
• Others.

/ B, g b/ b+ G; t( H* U A+ l• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. : k3 D- _. h0 v1 B& b1 y
• Equipment design experience is required;
; R; H Z) i/ i8 D• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;' \& O) T, _* h H) D
• Familiar with CAD software;
1 o( q' C+ s7 ]# V, V• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
2 \# f* j/ }4 B• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.9 E! @+ \0 }4 A; `1 J

Compensation:
9 b5 c" f7 m( b4 I! \Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
