•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
. h3 M0 t/ p' m•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

6 e; c( o3 w, k+ ^4 \. D0 GQualifications:
1 Y4 e5 m8 \* d3 Y, |' C4 L•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
3 w6 b/ C1 H6 B/ p& W: ^•        Familiar with CAD software;
0 k% V; m% C; f7 C" p  s) f•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
