4 {- l* o  L. u( E  F0 n8 }•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
/ O) U& Y$ \0 V# @/ K" u•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
  \% \% l+ K1 u•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
1 v, p4 H& _3 Q, T+ [. L8 X•        Familiar with CAD software;
) e5 }+ @" z8 i( q$ }  A4 r/ }•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
# ~0 B2 O9 A! N0 _& B5 U•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
