# f2 b; I# G4 }Major Responsibilities:
3 d* g0 J+ P0 P& t. _•        Process research equipment design;
3 x4 w* [$ @! `" G•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
) }( k% w+ c' J- e8 w- G/ V! y$ L! c•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
3 D! ?$ Z/ O' Z' D•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
5 y# |7 X0 g2 l, M1 m3 E•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
" g: }2 [, }5 {3 w, t) b•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
+ o. [/ `: b7 W( w5 d& D- V•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
3 v  D7 E( p# x5 t& s* sSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
