Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Temporary position for Maternity Leave)

Hours of Work: Part-time: 21 hours per week

Job Description! T: s4 g: |& `; _! a: D% B4 Z) j
-Answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
- T9 O- Z5 D. h: G" A* E-Assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
/ T) z1 A! E4 B+ y3 |8 [3 ?-Reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team4 `' E; i: W' K. ]' n
-Helping Immigrants with Language Barriers to interpret and explain English letters, pamphlets, notices in Cantonese or Mandarin as requested by the client
9 {9 {) |! y9 Z& L4 M8 m* A( @# l-Train and supervise volunteers at front counter or reception, e# _4 |6 N' y

0 C9 h7 k- V5 e. S) l4 Z! HQualifications:" T" o/ x5 x' {: ^& t7 r
-High school diploma or above, two years or more related work experience
6 t& L, y) P% |$ Z  x4 Y-Exceptional customer service skills, ability to handle multi-task requirement   q7 v) r3 d4 U( x2 }% [. i
-Works well under pressure, ability to work well independently as well as in a team$ A' h, |& i" O1 i: F# |# p8 ?* {
-Good oral and written communication in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and willing to learn one of the Chinese dialects if only proficient in one. j6 _. c; m8 \* e4 ?. [5 x4 G' G
-Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
9 j0 W. C$ d1 }7 L6 \6 @* x2 j5 D8 X( g/ K  F9 w" i1 f
