% ^! t6 X1 V3 m. ~) \9 F
( n8 O. m( q& {( U( | Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
1 m. U+ w% ?2 p. |9 {9 j' ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
9 r1 ?& D1 o' ?  k. @ Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
4 o4 s+ a8 c: Y, {+ d) Z& H* M) w6 B% r Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
, x( a9 p" E! o3 L: F7 j Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

% V5 f; G- y' ^" y Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
6 V, l  C' e! s5 T+ q2 u Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
8 L4 B# [3 t- B Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
+ r3 }5 Y, w. |, ^9 z9 G Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
' A* d6 y! A; Y, B9 i7 M3 m Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
3 J2 u  d7 N. w0 r; _/ [4 l+ rThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
