; x$ n4 O& N0 Q: f+ N1 ~7 R' ~ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.+ g5 k9 n( @2 X; @9 ?
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
( X8 R. t3 d! o! _: r7 s) _* Z* ]8 N Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.# `' q' P& J* W; |& h

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.) G8 K) c7 S/ _) x
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.. t8 n3 M4 a& O! V. f) ^

Qualifications:
/ d5 F8 f+ a c5 |. _! h' b# A6 `8 t1 K! `+ q. V4 l
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
0 {0 e6 m! ~8 @# P. u Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
& k6 u* s. z f# d* ~ Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.5 c/ Y5 M3 Q# y/ }8 f0 N" B
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.) x: ]8 P" y0 l" `+ m
 Knowledge of community resources.
" }0 Q: K. [) e* ?9 Q Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
8 M; t: S5 s W( P Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:% ^0 Y- N% c5 m9 F; p
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
