 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
) B$ l3 c4 s: B. h ~ Z Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:* }% o+ @( D+ o! O; k

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
; T! M( a4 u. O* } Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
' B' S* e9 q2 N" w+ \! I Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.2 c d3 k4 b0 [. y# y7 P
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
5 s/ V( B* o X2 F7 h) r# I2 L Knowledge of community resources.
9 K: e9 O: f. A. |% b/ `% V Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
- u7 f6 u) H6 Y, B3 l Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. & y' Z4 U8 R2 C# B4 O

: G7 O" X% M6 S! xThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
) b; @/ M b* d% R2 @: ostarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
