Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
) F6 h$ f3 K7 H& s: ^( Yment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
! G. o: H& E! x& O2 xthe organization;
) A& \3 j. h6 _1 v5 OŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
9 }8 f9 S8 `1 j  z  z" Z, }( MŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
. ~6 W$ m. Q) LŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
$ y. G8 z+ |& W7 Kimplementing staff wellness programs;
# f! D4 y8 {1 W# ~  k) ^5 pŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
8 J* K  N, v& W" r- H( BŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
) C% o' @* Y  SŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
% W4 \8 I& ^% `3 y) ?- R; qŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
- T" Q( ?, B6 q4 g) f% Peducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
" ~# n0 K2 ?- ^Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
8 r- ~8 k* D0 X6 j- V4 q1 \Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 L) O: E4 `; I$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
