Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
% f2 S" G) T4 H' ?( O4 ^" X0 M2 UManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
3 V! q* k* k3 t2 `Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
4 \. y" c* P* J9 @7 Z2 ?the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 a$ R4 I( y% vŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
, v: P, p" q3 f# Wsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
3 _7 K9 p, L) S* keducation and experience;
! ^2 a7 X3 z( `0 t1 HŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
  a0 N( @: [+ ^Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
- @' ~% y5 i$ m: T! D! everbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
