Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
3 ?% ^4 g  B2 Q! M) I2 _The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
& |6 O- h1 c9 V- G, D$ a% N; ~Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
- `# r) ~" O5 X: H' |% RŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
* b* Q$ N6 J/ e, [' sŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
3 A. e% A! f1 y' Z  t/ {2 I9 d. EŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

4 U+ I+ \. f) j- M  }4 [- oŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
. e" k# C2 b# O0 i: x" k, FŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
6 D! Z. L7 U; [) m' oŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
" C! p1 R8 f4 e, g% mverbal and written.
4 R4 ~8 R7 L- Y( ?3 w7 R1 X) P4 DLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 \9 H8 q, D: r; V6 `  d) M4 A$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
' U$ s* y; d3 ~0 Y  H$ u$ @4 msuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
