Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 C3 p5 A" G- j  H$ EManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
% ~, l" X' E7 I/ H+ X* L5 D/ w+ aThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
/ X5 Y' G. h1 e6 XŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
9 Z' C0 O3 ~5 ~3 ]8 i* ~1 G3 KŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
5 H+ g( K' g. {Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

# H3 z3 f) o; |  ]Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
; t' f5 t2 u, x% i6 _# u3 eeducation and experience;
6 W$ ]$ j- {, F' LŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
/ B0 f  G0 `6 n0 s6 g( T. kŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
) C6 e9 B- ^9 b/ Iverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
4 B: M: t' T+ H$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
$ Q' v* y, `8 l* D. U& Bdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
