This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
2 W7 ?8 g1 h6 S2 @& ]4 x2 wCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
1 W% h/ C) l1 p' m" dB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
* }) L' B" _& XSeveral years related experience in a similar environment
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
0 G) ?* P6 S  J' K  oKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
( U% q. e$ d% x4 T; q9 s5 V9 e9 g1 eOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
