This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
, Q) ~" V$ u9 _$ n5 L  i4 f( qCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
5 ~% O# R2 z$ M( }- IQualifications
0 w: Y2 j% f/ r* _+ Q, RB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
Several years related experience in a similar environment
/ m% o' [2 ^0 z: v- qKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
! p$ L1 k; z2 V' ]Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
. |6 k( B) _# P% r. nOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
