Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
1 e1 U2 v( b8 c* ]) L1 ^7 K( d# MPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
+ b" B: L) U4 ZAdult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
: t, N' g- W$ yExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
! D+ o2 q/ I+ O# o4 XComputer proficiency
: O6 Q7 \# x& K2 e+ @3 T7 ]Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
2 Y( Z/ m( J) j0 W' x. BUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
