8 K# L; \' ?0 t& m5 Y& L4 R! XThe Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:

4 g1 d" I; b( a# H! G· Supervising a team of technical staff, which will include staff recruitment, setting performance expectations, evaluations, mentoring and coaching.

· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops.# R% ?2 A1 a# Y( w' X6 |3 O# ~" c

· Ensuring the Desktop Support Area is meeting /exceeding performance expectations defined in Service Level Agreements, by providing essential metrics for performance monitoring.1 Z8 I5 K# Y4 _) x

· Performing quality assurance for work performed, in response to customer requests.9 Q% G# w' u" O, C7 B

· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.7 S% y5 U" i5 [0 e$ R1 i5 `

· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.

· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.* \* X9 b, J. k" ?7 J! ~+ N  w- \

· Demonstrated expertise in streamlining of processes to improve operational efficiency.

33.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.% j6 o6 k+ J( P

! h! k' y0 }# I" h4 }3 a  G21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.) F6 F& e( i9 N; r  [8 W
