1. sub floor did not hold tight to the floor joists. Screws are doing better than nails for this purpose.

3. supporting beams are not level due to earth settlement. @$ m* B7 ~- v+ V+ J j+ n( n

For 2, you may need someone with engineering knowledge to find out, but there should be a building code governing the span distance. For 3, you can go down the basement to do a visual check yourself.( N W' |/ H, K) q) D
But anyway, insist the builder to fix the problem right away, don't let them get away with 6 months time. |
