$ _" d0 m# F) s( _; NI actually don't know what kind of message would be an appropriate one for those helped me and my girls last winter. But I do wish you know that your kindness made a positive impact on our life. In fact, I could not possibly make through this tremendous hardship without a few friends I met here. + O& Q T0 }1 A* x0 P
/ I0 I, z9 c( k" H( LSome friends witness many drama and sad moments in my life over the past eight months, I appreciate their understanding and unconditional support. All the unfortunate experience in the past somehow made me a happier person.
) y3 y) x7 F! F+ K: O4 @ o! I
3 v8 f5 n; Z2 z, hFirst, I finally quit death watch. My older daughter is still palliative ill and her health will continue deteriorating. Instead of being horrified of her sudden departure, I try to cherish every moment holding her in the arms. She is blessed to have a great team of medical experts, the most compassionate caregiver a child can wish for, many friends who love her dearly.+ l9 G9 O/ F! j* x/ C' a* u- o, z- X
/ H$ G8 M; y' f' p- X0 \Secondly, my naughty younger dughter brought lots of new excitment. It's very rewarding to nurture a normal heathy baby. I should give the credit to my mother who has done a wonderful job in raising her.
) N; c: `% U6 d: @& m2 p0 z1 ^; b- X5 g) b+ V l/ D+ Y
At last, I am heading back to work now. Working has always given me a sense of control; and it becomes more prominent when being a single mother.3 e8 q, |! r7 L: _/ [9 G: v3 O
