  c- p7 G) F0 }* z3 s8 S- rEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
+ I1 W# M2 T( W3 a; @operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
( w3 h. F, Y8 _7 Mthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
: s- Z* Y3 r0 ZDuties and Responsibilities
' `% H  L  m$ l3 ~5 m4 ^6 F' tCustomer Service
" p+ X. ]% v4 ]) c9 `* w: r• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
8 v% }& Y  G% @: F1 k9 W1 C' f• Assist customers find what they are looking for
& S/ B! d$ C% e+ ^* S( ~, a• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age

5 ?9 v# y- [; p• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
5 u% T  {" S, |3 d# ]• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
1 A$ d9 x; m  E$ e9 \" k! V• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
7 D# K# Z+ g! `. ^• Close the store (key holders)
% L- W* C4 p% X' |$ Z7 e  \• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

  b; Z& D- D+ @' f• High School graduate
$ f5 i7 V7 I) r" K7 B  O• Criminal record check.
- G9 e" V+ T3 g6 B6 W3 W  F• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
4 u( U# S4 Z# N: d2 @$ O• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
: x0 N* {+ N' S4 p9 a) X/ U0 rchanges in strategies

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
/ b& i+ R- D) }6 B" p• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
" {: T* W- y: L: J0 S• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
8 d& N' W5 |* M0 w0 S• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
