Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
6 w0 U* ~% A2 eoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
9 ?. A2 k  |# J/ h3 zthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
8 r! G# `0 h$ g  C: ^1 j  S/ b. scustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
- x8 V* E  A$ O7 {+ }0 fthe Store Manager.
3 y5 h$ e: {! m; pDuties and Responsibilities
9 }7 ^3 y( K7 N7 N* TCustomer Service
3 Y6 S& m9 C1 L8 Q9 N• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
* m" ^3 w6 Q, J$ P* P" u8 _# J• Assist customers find what they are looking for
. ]+ L- D! a9 i1 x  K• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
# i% J# G- f- V/ m• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
- d! H0 M3 p' D1 L$ vStore Responsibilities
& X) Z- b: g4 V4 `( `• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
6 S/ M0 O: i/ p0 `+ q" `( u• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
( M5 H& P' M/ P• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
7 L+ g8 I8 z7 O0 L- N1 U. _0 N• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times

• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

" B8 L/ s: f) m7 }• High School graduate

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
9 I1 i8 D& [7 m• Good problem solving skills
% n" d' X1 |: c* h3 i• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and

• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
- \1 l1 [5 g( V9 U9 t( I7 i' }+ d" I• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
" `6 c# X/ m' E  I9 P9 \• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
