SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
8 i0 j2 E. n4 H% JEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
) S' \8 i  `6 Boperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
4 N: L" {( k- M8 K. J/ wthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.

; j6 |) O; A& D* nCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
$ q1 d& z- o  n; Q  m$ E. }$ n• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
; A. ~. v3 }, z8 a5 e: C1 ^• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
: D+ ?& R2 x) s- U8 p: [; D3 Y/ T. f• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
3 L! M+ m: Y6 c9 wlooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
" c9 l5 Z; L' l2 c8 H• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
! V1 Q- O5 _/ E7 c1 ]• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
) z* r0 X1 [& w2 g3 a$ M• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
3 R) r% M. y1 U• Protect company assets at all times
3 p+ z+ O' g- X• Close the store (key holders)
& c  S1 K: m0 F8 r1 |+ {% j• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
( u8 D3 h0 I+ t6 W: Y- b9 O• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
) f0 o5 b) s& s1 P" ~! i/ ?• Good problem solving skills
: y( z4 ?& H# v• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions
" U0 ^: @$ b" ]; G• Fast paced environment
  R0 B* w- X) A+ _7 J* ~• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
