Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team./ b& [6 f2 S. u# k/ U' H6 D

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 O6 a$ | |5 e4 V Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects( }% S" A1 `- _0 x
 Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
2 C y# d4 a) p/ z5 h Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs6 p) R% ?2 \' E- V. J; S$ k5 J
 Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
$ F5 b6 w$ Z& a6 S# C; V+ d' \" }9 k2 b2 \, s# B$ z' T9 w$ S
QUALIFICATIONS:
% X' V2 J; H& E |• Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
0 O/ W6 J% m! l$ v• Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
+ k1 ~5 J7 o/ f• Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
; c7 ?8 [$ _* M, l; N$ {) W7 V) n• Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
% H! O: x* k) @% N: C• Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) ]) q; Q/ e) A3 Y7 y2 q' r+ ]• Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects' I5 g# U* f* N7 {
• Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
# w% ^ u4 ?* R• Ability to communicate with all levels of management" L4 X+ x# ^; R; V" X) p' k
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team6 B, ?+ i; w# V2 W9 r
