Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

  B' i5 J" S: R/ ?$ Y) Y! [KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
. _6 U' m# D' o; B" ]        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
0 v# ?6 Z! \) i) x6 W9 z        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

! c7 M% ?5 a* ?QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
7 H' s9 Y: p: F/ c; G•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
* J) i0 ?0 ?6 y- ?" p% l•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
