0 \. i3 L) J. H7 A  ?& GReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
; i6 Z. C& l' A1 T, V" S/ x, a        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
$ t2 U& M; N3 ^6 t- [        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
" u* m9 L$ D1 r* m5 A0 V( C$ }•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
% Q2 L% o1 ?) Z9 p•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
) G6 k$ k3 M, z  \2 h•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
  y5 F  f7 |# u* D" g; ~2 S•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
* v: I7 `) o2 d# j; C•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
6 U' ~0 L7 ?. c3 H3 l/ F•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
% u, P+ \; j1 k. Y7 C# @( D: f•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
