3 G6 {0 O4 K) v7 Y; gReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

/ q+ A! K2 I+ E3 TKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
# ^* R: M8 W! m% _' p  Z        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
# Q' r, C4 @# A6 b•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
5 }  R1 x5 o1 R8 r  t7 ]+ k$ ]•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
& c7 L9 `- o! s0 Z0 y8 O•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
% S4 ~$ d& z4 Y/ m•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- E+ j7 @9 {9 g! K•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
+ p' P: f# ~% o' U8 w•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
# r; X. f  O' @: q•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
