关于申请北部地区职位的一点建议

今天帮一个朋友看了一下她的resume.她申请的是whitehorse的一个职位.我觉得有一个普遍误区就是北部地区的职位也不是想象中的那么好申请的.通常也有不少人申请,甚至很多都是直接从安省申请的.我有一次yellow knife的电话interview的经历.3个人轮流和我谈了1个半小时,他们人都挺好.但千万不要认为是北面他们就会找不到人而降低标准.我最后在二选一中被淘汰我总结主要原因也是因为太轻视那里了.

所以,最重要的是摆正自己的心态.你不是曲就才要去那里,而是你非常,非常向往去那里:)

What is the most disappoint thing that you get in your career?

What is the most important project which you did?

What is the worst thing(or mistake) that you did?

What is the strength and weakness of you?

Why did you want apply this position?

What kind of skills you can apply to this position?

How much the salary that you expect ?

Do you have some exprience dial with The Frist Nation?

If you co-worker frighting, what do you do?

If you and you colleague have different ideas, what should you do?

How did you colleague discreb you?

Agree with Gongxifacai, I had a chance of face to face interview for a position in a diamond mine company in Yellowlife few months ago. 3 of them came to Edmonton, about 8 people were interviewed for this position. Although my experience is over the requirement of this position, they did not pick me because I did not work in exactly same environment.

those three Territories. NWT, Yukon and Nunavot(this one might be spell wrong)
