- conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities

Organize Leadership Training Sessions. P3 V8 r0 p. x; c1 C, E$ u! n( u i
- locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings

- use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

Plan and Facilitate identified public events

- work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

- create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

- work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation

Qualifications for this Position7 {3 k' j7 r* E
% U* c& R7 n, |8 a7 u( H! \" N- r% a
- excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society
; l& J g7 \1 ^0 O( H( v( u* O: O- demonstrated leadership abilities with youth+ i; I& x1 q$ v4 y; @& c
- experience with project coordination
8 s# t) u7 K9 n" c' j0 W- degree or diploma in human services field
$ ]" X7 J( X9 @% p4 A4 y- developed knowledge and skills in one or more performing arts
