The way to resolve this is to have the user open Internet Explorer and go to; |% n. G( |# N$ m+ ~) b
Tools -> Internet Options! A% [& Y6 y- F4 L
Click the Connections Tab3 S* q8 ^- q$ l) U* [
Click the the "Lan Settings" button- R: I0 q+ Q4 B8 A, A B4 L
Remove the check mark next to "Automatically Detect Settings"

Click Ok: v; g& t- B _7 B4 P9 V

The user will now be able to visit University of Alberta websites again. |
