. o- S7 T( {& `* V+ ?' `
" w9 P0 A0 X1 D0 d8 G- O- G) @He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.

While on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management.  In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

% @* `) n, T& n$ m: nTim has served 424 in a number of roles:

    * Shop Steward
4 I% p: L! C; ]3 N9 s; Y: j    * Chief Steward
    * Local Treasurer for five years.

4 U( ]6 c, z: E) c- w  QFor four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002. In 2004 he took over the reins as 424 Business Manager.

8 F8 t; q& i/ t- wDespite his active work life Tim remains a committed family man.  He and his wife Dana have two great kids, Daniel and Leah (Tim’s other “child” is a  Harley Davison that he doesn’t get nearly enough time to ride).
