Financial / Budget & Payroll: monitor time-sheets for staff; create yearly budget for program to be approved by executive director; make changes to budget as needed; regular reports to executive director on budget/spending; Supervise Staff – ensure timely planning of future funding takes place; monitor 4–6 staff personnel & program progress; communicate with all project funders; monitor evaluation of program.: y9 L1 Q4 q" j/ U- F) r
7 @" `* ^5 V3 A) U7 VReports to Funders: ensure all staff submits timely reports including evaluation of their programs; Manager completes financial report in consultation with accountant; Maintain files for each program for each funder of the program; Report to executive director on proposals and report submissions to each funder for each program.0 h P4 j2 K- \, r- b. 6 X" G: N+ ^7 S9 K4 m R5 l, X, ?Work with Partners/Public: answer queries and concerns from partners and public; ensure partners are well informed of program status. Annual Report – create annual report on all activities of the program prior to Annual General Meeting. Professional Development – Be informed on current issues on race relations and youth leadership training.

3 Y. |0 B0 Z% d7 C) V, `, h6 nProposal Creation: write or supervise writing of all proposals to all funders of programs; Ensure communication with funding representative is adequate; Ensure criteria for each funder is met in each proposal.

1 C9 |, t( _" i9 \# Q2 {# }2 q% qKey Qualifications: Good knowledge of an Aboriginal or central African culture/ language; Excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society as it applies to Aboriginal people and/ or African immigrants/refugees, and the formal education system; Experience working with Aboriginal and/or African communities. Experience facilitating workshops; Knowledge of the issues facing high-risk racialized youth & experience working on skill development with youth

3 A) e0 o' b% w3 iPLUS: Knowledge/experience with youth leadership training; Personnel management experience; Computer skills in information management, communication/spreadsheets. University degree in human services, preferably with a focus on education and/or study of race relations.
