§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
# s! h) j, ^; S7 n§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert: N U# L1 Z3 u3 k" L
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

4 z* ]& `; Y, J* k% s2 X§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives3 i! y" x6 {8 |% S0 T
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports% O% {$ _; d+ {) W) @$ m
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
6 F% c7 l% C \2 f§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
/ d7 i- ?7 a+ \( s* I: `3 g§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times$ ^4 {: f( U5 K( D& T
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
& ?# P, G% {8 e$ u; `: y7 y§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
# E; c, P' k8 y/ q! T& m+ `* ^§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan( z1 E& p* U0 l' U3 i0 c# t
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk; V) n" A& b) W) }" I1 ^* g
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert J4 s8 Y1 o9 m* W; y& O# H
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
/ c9 i2 P7 }; W§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers

Qualifications:
