The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.3 w- y$ P8 c; [5 D F R

& l% P3 R: n1 E§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
* p& b2 J6 p# b+ K ^! W* y§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
^$ Z2 L- `6 }' \; e§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation/ E& W8 k# J' r3 I1 Z2 _
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times0 z- K9 E/ w& ~3 G+ D$ ^) ]
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk7 Q0 Z3 V7 k0 Z, [5 t( o
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience3 }' U% ^& K4 v) _, D5 {

§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues+ o# ]% c3 W: |6 M
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems7 P- I& X5 B5 I) ?% W0 _" h, E4 Q

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. § Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports

§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to! n% [9 `- L$ t7 g( m9 y' @
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
9 `9 |# l' h" M# j§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
