Responsibilities:
5 m) m' C! |& D0 A§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
' k0 s* x/ q1 x4 j. c2 i§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
+ T, Z" X: D% m% f§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
6 i, j+ _* j2 X- H. k1 [§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times" I1 y6 t3 N5 `' P6 ~( F% O; c
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
" j% I2 ?% Z" ?# T! M" V& [; K% r§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience2 u( u9 o* Z6 H0 a, s9 C4 U3 U
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision- K+ M! M- J% Y# ~' x {- x
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
9 H) y9 c& s/ _! b+ U* C4 O§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports; N3 P, z" _9 |' z
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
6 P/ p% V3 k7 z! ~& e& `§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
; i H. F. ]9 }$ Z§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
% h; M# X* Z1 _% ?6 F, @) D§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
* _- v; A: D3 J3 b2 B0 H§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures

§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
