March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.6 x, ~8 H2 s2 o$ l+ j

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

7 a3 Z _7 H; i0 N" k, Z( zlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
8 H" F0 t a. V- }9 u, O7 |digging for and examining fossils 5 p2 m" ]; g; q& [$ g6 @6 g
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
6 s# p' q w; ^. k/ uinvestigating insects 6 l- N4 J3 ?) m( t

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.. P5 V2 {) ^) G
