On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

) D+ o- |1 @6 E* H: f% Q5 v7 T. vBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

) y; d6 m* H6 E/ H7 @* ]learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ) x( q+ V7 B) S+ W6 f
digging for and examining fossils - B3 w9 V1 |$ I0 b4 Z! \1 F
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.7 G$ \) o0 u x

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
