ironic:
0 |( c) u4 N; ~2 T8 \% _我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
( `$ U; a# U3 o8 ~/ }2 i0 ~there, I was being ironic/ M. [! r2 q; z. g& I6 X$ l N
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
如花: hi 美女4 P; u" L6 ^% r8 B) F: L: _% G
美女: are you being sarcastic?2 I, V. K. E6 ~
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!9 j$ @8 u& {. c5 v$ N
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty, better be polite。 |
