几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic1 _! G5 v: ^* K0 d6 ^0 k" F7 V
6 Z6 F& }. \1 y; F
这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。
8 c! t5 E! x+ [# `- K白水 发表于 2010-1-29 17:02 2 w/ o. G' j" E6 V- k! W
# g( F! X, G* g3 J. g' c* ~, f( Fironic:& X0 x, s1 n7 V- d) m% b
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
# ~/ C3 G% F3 w* \: m9 ~+ G/ Fthere, I was being ironic
8 _ d$ }$ {" ^5 rironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!), E9 f! w: I; j, q
sarcastic 有更多感情色彩,有主观上的一种伤害,攻击的意愿,是坏的intention
+ T, H M, G7 Q! y/ a
2 @) B- s S! m4 a, U还拿如花的例子说,这个情景对话两个词都能用到:/ f) v0 R8 | B Z1 M: O$ M7 z' `1 s
如花: hi 美女# b# F& z% h" {4 Z! Z
美女: are you being sarcastic?# \9 ^! J& n9 _5 l+ V7 g
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
6 r/ ]' S g- q% A: a美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
