- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
% f1 o0 @" Z# H+ t- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
+ y2 n7 l; [) h1 J2 \1 r- f/ J- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups& G( Q" \" I' l# U. O
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs% S* J' b1 w9 N. J. e8 T: D
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

2 h) L0 \8 M/ @. AKey Qualifications:- s. J# O2 t* i% c' k+ j! r4 b
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
! y8 I1 V3 W2 r3 o# ]6 ]* m/ K- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
) L7 W! B; {$ Q7 ?- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others4 m2 S6 j3 s$ I) d
- Experience doing program development1 d% z& I C; f0 N2 q
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
2 D$ H. `" c- X/ B$ ?" Y- Self-directed and able to take initiative2 V; P b/ g5 v
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
