  l: w- |4 K5 t( C6 {( eTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).

8 w: h+ f# c" P2 h. GResponsibilities:
6 l+ r% E0 F/ {1 M# n-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
1 s' e) W' u. o- c-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
) K6 ]$ X! @( I: o7 ^-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health


( D0 n' q0 B2 `1 d: r5 BKey Qualifications:
-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
. o( d3 B0 |- B- |( E3 P-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
7 }" K1 m- H- I0 k' b8 u) n( a-        Experience doing program development
: P& J2 @3 P. Z- K% s0 C" s-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
$ p4 E% r' Z. [  e6 D-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
* v0 K, m: Y1 I' {% z+ q& Q7 N8 P& D-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license


Assets:
, {( x8 Z: e9 U-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
* e9 [( A) q5 d! Y-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
