! r, C! }- S6 ?% a& S- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth7 ]1 J' G' ]8 K y
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling0 ]: n. p |. U! {! ^
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups+ M/ O' c2 j% B9 V# p6 J+ t* _
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
7 W5 L9 e6 c5 j# N5 L- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
2 @$ X, g8 [+ e- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
# E9 Z+ ?8 |5 H- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement2 ]8 w& T6 \1 Q
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others: s) ?6 V2 |9 c, ^
- Experience doing program development+ N7 W! ? `( {' M
- Strong organizational and coordination skills7 V* C# T* |$ X8 k
- Self-directed and able to take initiative) M: j; F5 J6 p! x, |
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset4 K" H, U4 r! t3 n! w2 S+ H& M
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license# ]; v4 m9 t8 I6 P$ J5 T
