! Z+ k. K8 l/ x' k埃德蒙顿普通话移民协会（EMIS）和亚省福州工会将于2009年12月5日联合举办一次讲座。

题目：如何在阿尔伯塔省做土木工程师

讲员：Ms. 纪 P.Eng, M.Eng。现为Senior Civil/Structure Engineer, 早年毕业于清华土木工程, 有多年中国及加拿大工作经验。

内容提要: 讨论进入加拿大本专业工作的策略；介绍加拿大提供土木工程学位的大学和主要课程；介绍阿尔伯塔省的油砂地，工艺流程，油砂工业里主要的结构和基础类型；在项目整个过程中土木工程师的工作；最后讨论结构设计的技术问题，设计规范，设计成果，如何写计算书，节点设计，基础设计，动力基础设计，模块设计。

Start with self introduction
( x0 C, f. A- G8 T: RDiscuss some strategies on how to involve ourselves to professional environment
Introduce Canadian Universities with civil engineering programs and some main courses
$ F% _+ Z. b8 ]Introduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies.
# O7 l6 q, X" `2 \! j! @Introduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages.
+ X% i$ d/ o# `/ M- ]At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design.
