Due to the unexpected national shortage of the H1N1 vaccine, Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health and Wellness will target immunization to Albertans at high risk.! m4 c2 y2 [0 r: R
+ E5 P9 ~9 f$ oThose currently eligible for H1N1 immunization are:
5 f" n# Q; i- |) c5 h3 A6 L. [3 b3 m/ ]4 D
* Both parents, or one parent and one caregiver of infants under six months of age;
1 `" N0 F& r! D. p * Children under 10 as of November 1 with chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes);" z2 M( X7 U# S1 f1 D
* Children over six months and under five years as of November 1; and# t, L) s6 P6 d" o' d2 E
* Pregnant women.

On November 12 and ongoing, new groups being added include:9 @- k% f+ c. d: N) g+ b J
- B- b& w- P& u' O/ c
* People with chronic conditions aged 55 to 64 as of November 1;
0 s7 B) W5 F2 D * People with chronic conditions aged 10–17 as of November 1. (Combined with the group added November 6, this group ranges from 5 to 17).

On November 13 and ongoing, immunization groups will expand to include:
