Job Duties / Responsibilities
( |* P8 D  y% i% j3 B) O% L  mThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
$ u+ U4 D) x- {" S( R9 Q• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

) a3 {2 N/ y0 }1 k: d9 g, W• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
7 H# g  ], B# w0 |- _• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
* R/ s" D5 i( B* V• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


* F4 X8 G4 g" dEducation / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
! ~( P9 E/ q! ^  i+ h# x& Z• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
/ W; l5 g/ u- M$ w9 M8 c9 H1 C• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
