This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
: T9 {& X) B' G8 k- x! b5 ~• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support8 ~4 p0 B) C3 C( d# b6 f0 y
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel# u7 S0 {9 H4 y
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
' [+ G4 _+ z- v% Y8 D; b" z• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments8 }% n+ z) b. V7 m( l
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams! M# m) y, ]' [/ K, D6 C+ }) }
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
: @) w" p1 U% z Q8 ?1 m4 r• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables6 s7 t1 e: ? |5 \3 l8 g% O% g
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
" ~. @0 E6 e& M7 A• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

( Z* O& a3 U3 w2 f3 w# xEducation / Experience
. r) ~$ K. m e$ [, U• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
- c# k4 U! l8 d8 ?3 w• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator" N- g9 K5 j: c' M
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
2 F/ L7 }' P1 w/ x/ R# M• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required# g7 B1 `! V6 h# K: c: ^4 L
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
