Job Duties / Responsibilities; _5 P# Z H9 S+ P/ S4 i
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
) Q' F2 o' D- B9 u1 S• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support3 w9 k- ]) p2 g5 f- Y
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
: `7 ]* x7 Q5 C$ V0 d, L! Q! B• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts: k' D' d" V, [3 h V
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments' {4 R. I) d7 \% U! y' `
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams2 {$ n1 V) C9 f- R
• Autocad and Microstation drafting: d5 a7 W) T5 Z4 j. L) }; f
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
2 s6 v5 e* n! R" F• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
; U" b$ M. q1 L2 K% `• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

4 |3 p: r# A# I' B0 i• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI1 a0 U' s# ^6 b! G: Z4 b9 V
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
! a; R1 G% H p• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
: S2 P; U0 Q# q• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required0 E% Q% |$ O8 w3 W0 j- C- P
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
: L* J3 e5 }0 a• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
