/ {6 x+ D9 }# Y: W4 ~, nTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
8 i* ^& `! f  F) ^6 yAll potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
* H3 n$ i! }# L/ l4 ~•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
( @8 M3 T; r- F( [  P+ C1 B( [0 u•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
0 c" Q# A; }+ [0 C+ C, U•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
0 N" n. I, V) T•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop
•Lack access to professional networks
•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
