•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less/ Q9 l2 ^8 w& m! v' y) f* w
•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education e+ ^3 F" y( v% e6 L3 E•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English8 H8 n$ k' a* v) A
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada ) s9 }. f4 \2 \4 O8 M8 a•No prior Canadian work experience in their field( j' n# T5 G5 n1 t. H6 s
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less $ d) w- k; c. n8 R6 J•Be eligible to work in Canada - s9 l+ W+ B7 q$ X1 B; J•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop* }! J8 w* d* J; W) T& b
•Lack access to professional networks ( [0 l' _# f/ t! C1 _* U5 |) I•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning ! ]6 A; [; M4 x! q% O9 t/ LTime Commitment 4 ^6 |/ q6 o/ q1 jThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.
