. U5 n/ g. ?# _1 hThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.

Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

1 H- h& n7 d1 I. VYou must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
4 V/ Z4 b0 Q; v# ?( G! l• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
9 a: P- f# {6 E; ~6 D: |( h• Good health and physical condition
% H7 Y& P& w  [% L, D: @• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
- k& Y0 G- B  i  K" P• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
9 i! D6 x" T$ K4 T# z• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
8 e4 p- {& \0 g. \. }• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
