Police Service Preparation Program

  U% k; h1 n7 P/ h/ q+ x! G( {This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

7 n, X' g- }0 C) g/ B0 P2 HStart date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Entrance Criteria
You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
7 u, @2 J3 f! F1 I) q' V• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
