Police Service Preparation Program

* ~- H+ ]0 Z5 B1 ]This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
* t& E% ^+ }% _  OPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

" U( W! j1 Z1 l( `You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
. C6 y5 R4 K  E2 l( x' d* w• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
6 l6 e. j/ q8 V3 Y. p- M% p- W8 f• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
/ S9 e2 R1 b9 O8 ?1 h1 ~• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
