& M0 Z- v1 \: yEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana. n* K u' z t1 N" G
" M& l0 ]* c7 d. LOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van., y( \0 p/ ~+ z% Z0 T l+ k

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.

Charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking have been laid against Dihn Xuan Luu, 44 and Deng Xuan Dihn, 51. |
